 Overseer E.M. Jackson - Senior Pastor

 

Born and raised in Louisiana, native of New Orleans receiving a cross cultural upbringing that prepared him for different challenges of cultural surroundings.  From living in the community of multiple housing developments to more refined neighborhoods; which also facilitated in preparing him for Destiny, the Will and the Purpose of God. 

While growing up in New Orleans, he attended church where his grandfather the late Rev J.J. Wright Sr. served as pastor. Brother Jackson was exposed to many facets of ministry as he served in the Youth to Adult Choirs, taught Sunday School Teacher, Usher and Youth Leader and was blessed by the Lord to develop a talent in percussion. 

Pastor Jackson also served in military service for over twelve years performing administrative and office management duties with the United States Air Force. He has received several awards for his work and team achievement, including the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, (for team effort) the Air Force Commendation Medal (2 oak leak clusters) and Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (for individual service and work achievement).  During his military career he was awarded Airmen of the Quarter several times and Airmen of Year.  He was also nominated by his commanding officer as one of the Top 12 Outstanding Airmen within the entire US Air Force.

Over the years Elder & Sis Jackson have ministered and evangelized in many churches/locations, such as in California (Lompoc, Riverside, and Santa Maria), Colorado (Colorado Springs), Wyoming (Casper), Nebraska (Belleview and Omaha), Kansas (Ft Riley), Minnesota (Minneapolis - St Paul), Ft Campbell (Kentucky), Louisiana (Alexandria, Donaldsonville and New Orleans), New Mexico (Las Cruces & Silver City) Texas (El Paso, San Angelo, Midland and Odessa), also in Europe Germany (Zweibrϋcken).  He has continued to Evangelize and minister in various churches in Permian Basin and other cities and states outside the basin.   With over 30 years of management and leadership experience, he has held civilian office management jobs, excelling to top tier middle management duties.

While living in Las Cruces, New Mexico Pastor Jackson team up with the ministy of Pastors Clara & Mark Stephens, which was a reunion from being under their ministry in country of Germany.  Served as Assistant Pastor, Youth Leader and Choir Director.  There also he was the gospel music DJ “The Gospel Soul” radio program AM1450 KOBE – live every Sunday morning reaching New Mexico and Texas and two countries (USA and Mexico).  He also was a guest gospel music writer to a monthly Christian newsletter for El Paso gospel Christian community “Gospel 411”.  He and his wife ministered to and directed the New Mexico State University BASA (Black Allied Student Association) Gospel Choir Gospel Ensemble – that put on concerts and traveled around the community sharing the love and word of God in song.  He and his wife have also worked with CARE, a community group that worked on legislative matters concerning teenage pregnancy, the “just say no: campaign, prayer in schools, teenage sexual challenges and 2nd Time Virginity programs.

In 1990 they moved to the Permian Basin and joined up with the ministry of Bishop A.C. & Lady Lore Taylor.  Ordained as Elder in 2000 and assigned as the Assistant Pastor.  In 2007 asigned as Executive Pastor and in 2008 installed as Senior Pastor. 

The Lord has ministered through Pastor & Co-Pastor Jackson  and many have been saved, healed and delivered.  They have been united in marriage over Married 29 years, with 28 years of joint ministry experience.  Pastor Jackson is currently enrolled at FICU in their Master's program in Biblical Studies & Church Administration.

Pastor Jackson currently serves as President of the Midland Interdenominational Alliance, Executive Secretary of Victorious Kingdom Ministries International and Project Coordinator of the Western Distict Fellowship of Churches in Texas.
